In June 2018, Eastern International University (EIU) held the opening of the competition “Startup Idea Battle 2018”. More than 200 students from high school students attended.
After the launching, candidates participated in a training session on the process of discovering and creating startup ideas.
The program inspires the spirit of entrepreneurship by helping the students understand more about definition of entrepreneurship and learning, experience, building business ideas with professional. This competition also support candidates a part of knowledge, experience about the realization of ideas when they were still in school.
Competition attracted many students to participate
Contributing to the construction of the Entrepreneurship ecosystem in Binh Duong, Startup Idea Battle (SIB) through 3 rounds of competition, 7 tranning sessions and 2 rounds work with mentor. With full of judges and mentors from education fields, start-up businesses, private businesses.
With the role of the university – an indispensable supporting component of the Entrepreneurship ecosystem, Eastern International University has introduced the Entrepreneurship major into the training program and established Becamex Business Incubator with a vision. “Promoting entrepreneurship thinking and developing a entrepreneurship ecosystem in the region, thereby contributing new values to the community and the national economy”, providing many support programs and services to the startup community.
