With an aim to promote innovation and entrepreneurship among students, Eastern International University hosted the first round of SV STARTUP 2021 competition.
Within 1 month, BBI has received many innovative start-up projects by EIU students, among which TOP 4 projects were selected to join 3 training workshops on business and entrepreneurship hosted by EIU lecturers.
Once the teams are equipped with more knowledge on entrepreneurship, team members had the chance to experience being a start-up founder when they pitch their startups in front of a panel of judges and received helpful feedback to help improve their projects.
The pitching round was also joined by faculty members and EIU students.
The two teams that will represent EIU in the next round of the competition are AWATER with the idea of an automated irrigation system controlled via a phone application and and BetterCare with telehealth nursing services.
BBI is honoured to have helped organised the competition and wish the best of luck to both teams on their next journey.
