On January 1st, 2021, “Energy Innovation Day 2021” took place at Eastern International University with the participation of more than 120 guests which included government leaders, energy experts and representatives of Venture Capitals and Non-profit organisations in Vietnam.
This event was organised in partnership between Becamex Business Incubator (BBI) and New Energy Nexus – an international non-profit organization that supports clean energy entrepreneurs and startups. Energy Innovation Day had successfully introduced many clean and sustainable alternative energy solutions to the audience and created opportunities for partnerships within Vietnam’s startup ecosystem.
As part of the event, BBI organised a campus tour around EIU to introduce our guests to the university’s FABLAB and BBI’s member, Electric Motorbike startup Datbike. Additionally, the attendance and contribution of 6 other clean energy startups helped create a vibrant and exciting atmosphere for the event.
The event was a great success thanks to all the contributions from our guests and the help from BBI’s partners – New Energy Nexus and Raconteur. BBI hopes to organise more events to connect the entrepreneurship community in the near future.
